Koddies started with a simple observation: the hardest part of learning Korean isn't grammar or vocabulary — it's finding someone to actually talk to. Millions of K-drama fans, K-pop lovers, and aspiring expats want to practice speaking, but the gap between textbook Korean and real conversation feels impossible to bridge.

We built Minji, an AI Korean friend who talks like a real 22-year-old Korean university student. Not a robotic tutor who corrects every mistake, but a patient friend who keeps the conversation flowing. Someone who texts you "뭐 해?" and genuinely wants to know the answer.
